Olivia graduated from Georgian College in 2014 and chose the veterinary field because of her love of animals. There has never been a time in her life where she has not had a pet (or multiple) and she has always loved them as family, and wanted what’s best for them. What better career path than veterinary medicine, where she is able to extend that love and care to more than just her own pets.
The areas of veterinary medicine that interests Olivia the most are lab work (specifically bloodwork), nutrition and nursing/in-house patient care and comfort. The part that she loves most about being in this field is that she gets to go to work with people who are like a second family, and advocate for the furry family members who are unable to speak for themselves.
