Fecal tests can identify worms in the stool or other possible digestive problems.
A fecal parasite screen is a test done on a stool sample and tested through our in-clinic lab by our RVTs.
Fecal screens are performed using a microscope, as there are parasites we can’t always see with the naked eye, like roundworms, hookworms, or whipworms.
We have fecal containers that you can collect stool with. Alternatively, any container or Ziploc bag is suitable.
