Arthritis Treatment

If your dog is having difficulty getting up, seems stiff, or is liming, these may be symptoms of arthritis.

Most commonly it comes with age (degenerative changes), although congenital problems or injuries can cause early onset arthritis as well.

There are several treatments for arthritis. More common is the use of NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Alternative treatments such as acupuncture, laser therapy, and joint supplements may also benefit your dog.
